DESCRIPTION:     Phantoms of Asia: Contemporary Awakens the Past is the first large-scale exhibition of contemporary art organized by the Asian Art Museum. And 2012 marks the inaugural year of Asian Contemporary Art Week-SF (ACAC). Join the Asian Art Museum and ACAC to kick off both events in a special "Day of Dialogue." Artists whose works are included in Phantoms of Asia discuss emerging themes in contemporary art\, creating contemporary work for a traditional art museum\, and the challenges of producing site-specific work.
