Mask Making: A Workshop with Artist Zina Al-Shukri

From ancient traditions across Asia to contemporary interpretations of the art form, masks can reflect the spirit world, express beauty and ferocity, or just be plain fun. This art making workshop inspired by the special exhibition Phantoms of Asia, lets you be creative and showcase your personality. What do you want to be? Local artist Zina Al-Shukri leads this workshop for families and participants of all ages. Al-Shukri is an emerging artist whose exhibition history includes: Patricia Sweetow Gallery, San Francisco; Jack Hanley Gallery, San Francisco; and Pulliam Deffenbach Gallery, Portland, Oregon.
