Two Day Trunk Show & Sale with Language of Cloth

Asian|Store commemorates the newly opened batik exhibition in the museum's Tateuchi Gallery with the textile arts of Daniel Gundlach's Language of Cloth.  Having worked with some of Java's finest artists, Gundlach will have many new designs on offer, ranging from tribal textiles and contemporary pictorial batiks to traditional cottons and silks, both hand-drawn and stamped. Proceeds of the sale directly benefit the museum's programs and exhibitions.
