Firstly, I love Andrea–her Into the Vietnamese Kitchen was an instant classic. Unsurprisingly, her new Asian Dumplings cookbook has sold out at the museum store.
Secondly, this makes me question my dietary choices. If I make good on my dream of making a vegetarian version of xiao long bao, I’ll document it here.

I think that the cafe should feature more Shanghai specialties. I also volunteer to do taste tests – I’m being very altruistic and helpful, aren’t I?
